Baseball Recap: Watonga Takes a Loss

Watonga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-3 to the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-1 defeat last Friday.

Watonga's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watonga will host Hennessey at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they will face off against Asher at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
