Baseball Game Preview: Forest Bearcats vs. Quitman Panthers

Forest is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Quitman a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Forest Bearcats face off against Quitman Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Forest came into this matchup off a tough 14-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Raleigh by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Quitman came up short against Stringer on Saturday, falling 12-5.

Daniel Peters was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Quitman is 3-1 when Peters posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brenton McKenzie, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Quitman now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
