McKinleyville waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 58-40 victory over the Fortuna Huskies. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Huskies are ranked 665th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McKinleyville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cole Armstrong, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
