Soccer Recap: Goldwater Has No Trouble Against Coronado

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crismon, Goldwater was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Coronado Dons. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

They hit Coronado with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Lohman (2), Sydney Rose, Amelia Lohman, and Makena Jordan.

The victory got Goldwater back to even at 1-1. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goldwater will host Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coronado, they will be home for the holidays to greet Shadow Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Coronado's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
