Maya was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Phoenix Eagles. One positive for the Jaguars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Isaiah Brown, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 15 boards for West Phoenix. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least a third of West Phoenix's points. Another player making a difference was Kealin Covington, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Maya's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for West Phoenix, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-14.

As of now, neither Maya nor West Phoenix have any future games scheduled.
