Football Game Preview: Woodinville Falcons vs. Eastlake Wolves + How To Watch

Woodinville is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will face off against the Eastlake Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Woodinville will be strutting in after a victory while Eastlake will be coming in after a defeat.

Woodinville proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 21) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 14-13 photo finish over Juanita.

Woodinville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Santiago Hernandez, who threw for 208 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and Drew Sorensen, who picked up 77 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Eastlake faced Tumwater in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves were dealt a 49-21 loss at the hands of the Thunderbirds.

Eastlake now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Woodinville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Woodinville couldn't quite get it done against Eastlake in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 35-28. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
