Softball Recap: Desert Mirage Comes Up Short

Desert Mirage came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 23-13 to the Cathedral City Lions. The RAMS haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Desert Mirage's record now sits at 1-4. As for Cathedral City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Desert Mirage will square off against California School for the Deaf-Riverside at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Mirage is facing California School for the Deaf-Riverside at the right time seeing as California School for the Deaf-Riverside is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cathedral City, they will face off against Tahquitz at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
