Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Western Reserve extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Angela Desanto. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Waterloo Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank Desanto, who had 18 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Western Reserve won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-21.

The win got Western Reserve back to even at 7-7. As for Waterloo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Western Reserve will challenge rival Jackson-Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Waterloo is set to face off against their familiar foe Lowellville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
