Football Recap: Upper Arlington Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Upper Arlington won the last time they faced Olentangy Berlin and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Bears secured a 16-10 W over the Bears. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Bears are ranked 63rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper Arlington has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points this season. As for Olentangy Berlin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Upper Arlington will welcome Reynoldsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olentangy Berlin, they will venture away from home to challenge New Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
