Softball Recap: Wapakoneta Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Wapakoneta entered their tilt with Kenton on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Wildcats 16-2. For the Redskins, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Wapakoneta's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Kenton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wapakoneta will head out to square off against Celina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Redskins 2.9, the Bulldogs 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Kenton, they will challenge Liberty-Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
