Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview lost against Morley Stanwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Mohawks. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Lakeview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-10.

Morley Stanwood can attribute much of their success to Saige Ososki, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Ososki has posted over her last six matches.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10-4. As for Morley Stanwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Lakeview will face off against Ravenna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morley Stanwood, after both having extra time off, they and Kent City will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
