Michael Grimaldi gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. He was dynamite, striking out 13 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Coming up, Grimaldi and Duval Charter will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grimaldi has dominated as far as earned runs are concerned (he's averaged 0.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Warriors have only allowed 5.8 per game this season.
