Soccer Game Preview: Northwest vs. Keller Central

The Northwest Texans will take on the Keller Central Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Northwest managed to keep up with Bell until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Northwest lost 4-1 to Bell.

Meanwhile, Keller Central kept a clean sheet against V.R. Eaton on Friday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Kinsley Geasland was the driving force of Keller Central's attack as she scored both of Keller Central's goals, bringing her season total up to 12 goals.

Keller Central's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Northwest beat Keller Central 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2016. Will Northwest repeat their success, or does Keller Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
