Baseball Game Preview: Paoli Rams vs. Crawford County Wolfpack

The Paoli Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Crawford County Wolfpack at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paoli's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Crawford County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Paoli turned things around against Eastern Greene on Monday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Thunderbirds.

Paoli let Dominic Garcia and Cooper Spires run wild. Garcia went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI, while Spires went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Garcia a new career-high. Tripp Spencer also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 26-2 to South Central.

Crawford County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Paoli, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Paoli got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Crawford County by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Wolfpack have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
