Recap: Tecumseh Braves vs. Perry Central Commodores
The Tecumseh Braves had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over Perry Central. Given Tecumseh's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Perry Central is ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jenna Donohoo was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. The contest was Donohoo's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Feather, who scored eight points.
Tecumseh pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Perry Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tecumseh will take on Tell City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perry Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Springs Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
