 The Clearfield Bison will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greater Johnstown Trojans at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Clearfield will be strutting in after a  win while Greater Johnstown will be coming in after a  loss.
 Clearfield took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. They skirted past Somerset  6-5.
 Clearfield got a great performance from  Craig Mays as he  tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Mays has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Anthony Lopez was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.  Cole Bloom was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown is still looking for their season's first win. They lost  10-0 to Ferndale on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Greater Johnstown has lost by  exactly ten  runs.
 Clearfield is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record  this season. As for Greater Johnstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.
