Football Recap: Iosefa Lealofi Leads Barstow's Defense on Thursday

Barstow came into this matchup off a tough 20-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Serrano Diamondbacks by a score of 17-15 on Thursday. The Aztecs gained 158 more yards on the day, but it was the Diamondbacks that made the best use of them.

When it comes to explaining why Barstow lost, don't look at Jarvis (JJ) Applewhite. Despite the final result, he threw for 174 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 73 yards on only eight carries.
