Softball Recap: Hale County Takes a Loss

Hale County fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Gordo on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gordo Green Wave by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since April 6, 2024.

Adalyn Seale was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with four RBI and one stolen base. Yomari Moore was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-5.

Hale County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Gordo, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
