Baseball Recap: Otto-Eldred Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Otto-Eldred, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northern Potter Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-4. The Terrors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Manning Splain, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Landon Francis, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Otto-Eldred now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Northern Potter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Otto-Eldred and Northern Potter will both be playing Port Allegany the next time they take the field. The Terrors will host the Gators at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
