Volleyball Game Preview: Colorado Academy Mustangs vs. Peak to Peak Pumas + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Colorado Academy Mustangs and the Peak to Peak Pumas will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Colorado Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Eagle Ridge Academy just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

While Colorado Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19.

The losing side was boosted by Violet Judson-Arthur, who had four digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Peak to Peak posted their closest win since September 2nd on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Kent Denver 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pumas.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Peak to Peak who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-12.

Colorado Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Peak to Peak, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
