Softball Recap: Midway Green Wave vs. Lenoir City Panthers
Lenoir City hit Midway with a six-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Green Wave came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-10 back in March.
Midway saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiersten Ruffner, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was Ruffner's first of the season. Another was Kyker Johnston, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

As for Lenoir City, they are taking a road trip to take on Loudon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
