Football Recap: Bolton Academy Comes Up Short

Bolton Academy fell victim to LaGrange and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Gators 60-0. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Gators from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Tyler August threw for 45 yards on six of 18 attempts. Bryce Freeman was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Royce Roberts rushed for 52 yards on only six carries.

Bolton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for LaGrange, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bolton Academy will venture away from home to face off against Grant at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for LaGrange, they will head out to take on Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
