Soccer Game Preview: Natick vs. Dover-Sherborn

The Natick Redhawks will head out to face off against the Dover-Sherborn Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Natick is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Wellesley, who was ranked 18th at the time (Natick was ranked 13th). The Redhawks blew past the Raiders 4-1 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Natick sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Boston International typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Dover-Sherborn proved too difficult a challenge. They never let Boston International get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Five seems to be a good number for Dover-Sherborn as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Natick's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Dover-Sherborn, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1.

Natick came out on top in a nail-biter against Dover-Sherborn in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redhawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
