Basketball Recap: Winona Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Winona's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 36-32 W over the Edwards Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for Winona as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Winona's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 8-17. As for Edwards, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Winona nor Edwards have any future games scheduled.
