It was a Battle of the Birds when Knight duked it out with Lancaster on Tuesday. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Eagles 11-10. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Knight got a massive performance out of Katelyn Harrington, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was Harrington's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Desiree Ahumada, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Knight moved to 5-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lancaster, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.
Knight wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-0 victory against Palmdale on the 3rd. As for Lancaster, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Quartz Hill on the 3rd.
