Football Recap: Blytheville Wins Going Away Against Westside

Blytheville's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Westside Warriors get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Chickasaws this season.

Courtney Rogers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 185 yards on only ten carries. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 129 every time he's taken the field this season.

Blytheville's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Westside's QB won't forget Trevon Lewis anytime soon given he sacked him three times.

Blytheville's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Westside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
