Basketball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bondurant-Farrar last Friday, Gilbert came back down to earth. The Gilbert Tigers lost 60-34 to the Carroll Tigers on Tuesday. The contest marked Gilbert's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Carroll, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Gilbert will take on Winterset at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Carroll Tigers face off against the Carlisle Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
