With a playoff win on the line, Howland rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Highland Hornets. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.
Brooke Tatar made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
