Soccer Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

Greenwood lost against Greenville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Greenville Red Raiders who were credited with the win. The Greenville Red Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Greenwood Eagles' two. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Greenville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Greenwood will venture away from home to square off against T.L. Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. Greenville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mauldin at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
