Basketball Recap: Valley's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Valley lost against Enterprise back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Valley Buffalos fell just short of the Enterprise Wolves by a score of 47-44. The Buffalos' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Jaycee Barlow continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Enterprise, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 boards. What's more, Barlow also racked up four steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kylah Humphries, who posted seven points.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Enterprise, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

When Valley and Enterprise next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Valley will try to stop Milford's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Enterprise will challenge South Sevier and their seven-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
