Football Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Zephyrhills Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Freedom Patriots will face off against the Zephyrhills Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Freedom has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Zephyrhills will arrive with six straight victories.

Freedom's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Spoto on Friday. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Spartans are ranked 186th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Zephyrhills). They claimed a resounding 49-12 win over Pasco. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 31 points or more this season.

Zephyrhills' win came from a few key players Freedom will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Roe Miller, who rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and one TD. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Patrick Harding, who threw for 188 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes.

Zephyrhills' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
