St. Xavier entered their tilt with Trinity on Sunday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Trinity Shamrocks 68-44. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 24 points or more this season.

St. Xavier got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Jackson out in front who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. Jackson's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Dayes, who went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points.

St. Xavier's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Trinity, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the St. Xavier Tigers challenge the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity has already played their next contest (against Covington Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
