Football Game Preview: Trinity Valley vs. St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal

Trinity Valley will take on St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Trinity Valley have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.

After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Regents, Trinity Valley were happy to find some success last Friday. Everything went Trinity Valley's way against Casady as they made off with a 41-13 victory. With Trinity Valley ahead 34-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal were humbled. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-37 walloping at Cistercian's hands. St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trinity Valley's victory lifted them to 2-2 while St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped them down to 3-1. In their victory, Trinity Valley relied heavily on senior Isaiah Jackson, who rushed for 205 yards and 5 touchdowns. St. Andrew's/St. Stephen's Episcopal will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
