The loss continues a trend for Carmel Christian in their meetings with Charlotte Latin: they've now lost eight in a row.

Carmel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Charlotte Latin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.
