            Volleyball Recap: Lake Country Lutheran Lightning vs. Brodhead Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lake Country Lutheran had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They skirted past the Brodhead Cardinals  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Lightning have posted  since September 6th.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Lake Country Lutheran got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 26-24, 22-25,  15-11.
 Adeleine Catlin paced Lake Country Lutheran's offense, picking up 27 kills. Catlin got some help from  Grace Luedke and her 52 assists.  Brinn Catlin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 26-15. As for Brodhead,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches  and leaves them with a 28-10 record.
 Looking ahead, Lake Country Lutheran will challenge Luther Prep on Thursday. Brodhead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
