Volleyball Recap: Maple River Takes a Loss

Maple River was the 3-1 winner over Le Sueur-Henderson when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Giants on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18-1. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Maple River will take on New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they will head out to challenge Kasson-Mantorville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
