Volleyball Recap: Essex Tech Has No Trouble Against Dracut

Essex Tech's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Dracut Middies 3-0.

Essex Tech was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-16.

Barrett Cross went supernova, getting nine aces, eight digs, and one block. Dylan Krueger was another key player, getting 11 digs and five kills.

Cross wasn't the only good server: Essex Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dracut only served seven aces.

Despite the loss, Dracut still got an impressive performance from Jacob Louk, who had 12 digs and one assist.

The victory got Essex Tech back to even at 1-1.

Essex Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Salem on the 1st. As for Dracut, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Andover on the 2nd.
