Softball Recap: South Pointe Takes a Loss

Broome hit South Pointe with a six-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Stallions came up short against the Centurions, falling 12-2. The loss continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Centurions: they've now lost four in a row.

Katelynne Blythe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

South Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Broome, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-18.

As of now, neither South Pointe nor the Centurions have any future games scheduled.
