St. Frances Academy had won four straight games and Mone'T Edwards did her part to make it five on Wednesday. The St. Frances Academy Panthers strolled past the McDonogh Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 63-47 thanks to Edwards, who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points along with five assists and five rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Amora Alston, who posted three points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

St. Frances Academy's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for McDonogh, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

St. Frances Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-30 win against Rosedale Christian Academy on the 7th. As for McDonogh, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-36 victory against St. Timothy's on the 7th.
