            Football Recap: Bellmont Braves vs. Leo Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Bellmont fell victim to Leo and their airtight defense  on Friday. They were beaten by the Lions 47-0. The Braves were not able to make up for their  loss to the Lions from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 Charlie Faurote threw for 106 yards  on ten of 21 attempts.   Jason Lykins was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.
  Nathan Foster continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Leo, rushing for 173 yards and three  touchdowns. Foster really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 75-yard run. Another player making a difference was  Aaron Perlich, who rushed for 128 yards and one  TD on only six carries.
Bellmont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Leo, their win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bellmont is set to  square off against  their familiar foe New Haven  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Leo will  take on  rival Huntington North  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 834 yards in their previous games.
