Volleyball Recap: Madison-Ridgeland Academy Takes Down Ranked Lamar

Madison-Ridgeland Academy faced Lamar in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 30-28.
