Flag Football Game Preview: Dawson County Tigers vs. LaFayette Ramblers

Dawson County is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will venture away from home to face off against the LaFayette Ramblers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dawson County took on Gilmer on Thursday. The Tigers snuck past the Bobcats with a 25-20 win.

LaFayette not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 5, 2024 (when they won 27-6). Their defense stepped up to hand Cedartown a 21-0 shutout. The Ramblers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Dawson County better keep an eye on Prezleigh Baty. She was instrumental in LaFayette's win, rushing for 81 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 65 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

LaFayette's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Dawson County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
