Volleyball Recap: Ethan Tetzel's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Scott over Sycamore

The Scott Eagles came up short against the Sycamore Aviators on Monday, falling 3-0.

Scott took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-20.

Scott lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ethan Tetzel, who had 13 digs and one assist. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times he's played. Maxwell Egersdorfer was another key player, getting four assists and three digs.

Scott's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Sycamore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sycamore, they will welcome Lakota East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
