Upland had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday. The Highlanders/Scots blew past the Cougars 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Highlanders/Scots: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 1st, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Upland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rancho Cucamonga between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-20.

Upland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season.

Upland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Rancho Cucamonga and Bell Gardens will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
