Basketball Recap: Nick Roberts Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Percy Julian

Enterprise won the last time they faced Percy Julian and things went their way on Friday too. The Enterprise Wildcats came out on top against the Percy Julian Phoenix by a score of 52-43. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Phoenix are ranked 143rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Roberts led the charge by putting up ten points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Williams, who went 6 for 12 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Enterprise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Percy Julian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

Enterprise will challenge Dothan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dothan is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Enterprise a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Percy Julian, they will welcome Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
