Baseball Game Preview: Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers vs. McMahon Senators

Bridgeport Central hasn't had much luck against McMahon recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will square off against the Senators at 5:00 p.m. Bridgeport Central has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bridgeport Central is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to Darien.

Meanwhile, McMahon hadn't done well against Norwalk recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Senators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.

McMahon's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Bridgeport Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
