Volleyball Recap: Heritage Falls Despite Big Games from Athena Brock and Addyson Morrison

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Gwinnett Bulldogs.

Heritage's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addyson Morrison, who had ten digs and two aces, and Athena Brock, who had five digs and one assist.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Gwinnett, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Heritage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Johns Creek on the 23rd. As for North Gwinnett, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Dawson County on the 23rd.
