The Cheyenne Wells Tigers will challenge the Kim/Branson Mustangs at 8:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Cheyenne Wells sitting on four straight victories and Kim/Branson on 11.

Cheyenne Wells is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over Evangel Christian Academy. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Eagles are ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Friday. Kim/Branson came out on top against Prairie by a score of 48-38.

Kim/Branson's win came from a few key players Cheyenne Wells will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cameron Rosas, who posted 18 points in addition to four blocks and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Trotter Watkins was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Cheyenne Wells' record is now 20-4. As for Kim/Branson, their record now sits at 18-4.
