Football Recap: Keith James' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Franklinton over Louisburg + How To Watch

Franklinton was the 33-17 winner over Louisburg when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Rams came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 28-8. The loss was the Red Rams' first of the season.

Several Red Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keith James, who threw for 285 yards on 20 of 34 attempts. 113 of James' passing yards were hauled in by Amani Blacknall.

Mikah Mcknight had a dynamite game For Louisburg., rushing for 90 yards and one score, while also throwing for 126 yards and one TD on only eight passes. That's the most rushing yards Mcknight has posted since back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklinton fell to 3-1. As for Louisburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Franklinton is taking a road trip to challenge Riverside-Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Louisburg, they will welcome Beddingfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
