Volleyball Recap: Atchison County Comes Up Short

Atchison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Kansas City Christian School Panthers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Carlie Harden paced Atchison County's offense, picking up two kills. Harden got some help from Trinity Sigmon and her four assists.

Atchison County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kansas City Christian School, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Atchison County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy on the 6th. As for Kansas City Christian School, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bishop Seabury Academy on the 6th.
